Web Writing
- Techerator: I currently do some contributing on this tech site writing all kinds of reviews, how-to guides, etc. The link takes you to my author page with a list of all of my articles written on there.
.
- Lifehacker: Mount Gadgets to Your Car’s Dashboard with a 3M Command Strip: This is a post of mine that was featured on Lifehacker. A couple times a week, the editors pick the best reader-submitted tips and briefly feature them in a series called “From The Tips Box.” However, if a tip is really good and well-written, they will make it a full-featured post giving the original author full credit.
- The iPhone: Choosing The Right Network For You: This is a piece that I wrote for my university’s student newspaper, The IPFW Communicator.

Journalistic Writing
- IPFW Career Services Holds Sports & Fitness Career Panel: I never submitted this one to get published, but it’s one of my better traditional news pieces and is a great example of the inverted pyramid.
.
- Adjusting To New Elements At IPFW: This a newspaper clip of my first sports article (and my only, so far) and it was also my first journalistic interview.

Web Design/Developing
- The IPFW Communicator: After becoming web editor in February 2010, I ended up redesigning the entire website from the ground up. I designed it by extensively altering the HTML/CSS templates of an existing WordPress theme. I also developed and installed a custom login system and designed the masthead with the help of a couple graphic designers. The website was nominated for a 2011 ACP Online Pacemaker Award. The site has changed a bit since I stepped down, but the overall style still remains.
- My Personal Website: I would be remiss if I didn’t put my own personal website in my portfolio. This is the only website that I attempted to code from scratch without using a template, so I wouldn’t be wrong in saying that my HTML/CSS/PHP skills were tested to the max.
.
Multimedia
- Segment on The IPFW Communicator: I made this short news-style segment as my final project for a Video Production class. Video shot using a Sony HVR-A1U and edited using Final Cut Pro.
.
- One-Minute App Review – AirDroid: I made this video for a contest on another website. It had to be a one-minute-long review of an Android app or game. Video shot using a Canon ELPH 300 HS and edited using Sony Vegas 10.
.
- Cancer Awareness Video Project: I made this video for a Film Critique and Analysis class. I used Sony Vegas 10 to put it together.
